About
Luminescence is a musical duo for hire in Corindi Beach, NSW.
Mother and son, both singing, both playing more than one instrument. The harmonies are the point here, and they've had years to get them right. Luminescence Duo work the coast around Corindi Beach playing rock, alternative rock and ballads, mixing touring Australian acts like Ocean Alley, Lime Cordiale, Sticky Fingers, Spacey Jane and Tones and I with the older ground: The Beatles, Creedence, Fleetwood Mac, Bill Withers, Tracy Chapman, Tina Turner. Valerie, Hallelujah, Sweet Caroline and Stick Season all turn up. Lineups run from semi-acoustic guitar and stomp box through to guitar, bass and stomp box or guitar with djembe. They can DJ after the live set. All they need is a power socket, easy access and dry, level ground.
The show
Mother and son, both of them singing, both playing more than one instrument. The harmonies are what you're booking and they've had years of practice getting them to sit right, which is not something two musicians can fake on the night. Luminescence Duo will set the instruments to match your room: semi-acoustic guitar with stomp box, two guitars with stomp box, guitar and bass with stomp box, guitar and djembe with stomp box, or a newer option pairing guitar with electric drums.
On the day
A power socket somewhere close to where they'll be playing, and easy access into the building for carrying gear in. Ground needs to be stable and level. And it needs to stay dry, so if the plan is outdoors, have a covered spot ready to move to. Beyond that, Luminescence Duo sort themselves out.
