About
Lost In Sound is a musical duo for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
There's no complicated pitch here. Lost In Sound are a Melbourne acoustic duo who like playing live, and they work through a song catalogue spanning the 60s to current hits, and it grows all the time. Tell them what the night needs and the set gets shaped to match, and pre event requests are genuinely welcome rather than tolerated. They bring their own gear including PA for small to mid sized events, so all that's needed is a spot near power, and some shade if you're putting them outdoors.

The show
Two Melbourne musicians who'd rather be playing than talking about it. Lost In Sound work from a catalogue that runs the sixties up to current radio and keeps growing, so a night can sit anywhere on that line depending on what you tell them. And do tell them. Requests sent through before the event are genuinely wanted, not politely absorbed, and the set gets shaped around the room you're filling rather than played the same way it was played last weekend.
On the day
Lost In Sound carry their own gear, PA included, which covers small through to mid-sized events without a house system. All that's needed is a spot with power nearby. One extra thing for outdoor bookings: shade. Musicians and electronics both suffer in direct sun, so a marquee, a tree or a verandah edge makes a difference to how the afternoon goes.
