About
Klone is a musical duo for hire in Bassendean, WA.
Melanie Flynn and Kevin Curran have been around the Perth cover and original scene long enough to know what works, and Klone is what they do together. Male and female vocals, acoustic arrangements, classic songs pulled from the 60s through to the 90s with a bit of rock in the mix. High quality renditions rather than note-for-note copies. They've played all over WA in recent years, and the setup couldn't be simpler. Just point them at a power point.

The show
Classic songs, stripped back to acoustic and played properly. Melanie and Kevin do not attempt note-for-note replicas. What they do is rework familiar material for two voices and acoustic instruments, which usually reveals something in a song you had stopped noticing. The result is music you know, arranged well enough to be worth listening to rather than just recognising.
