About
Green Fieldz is a musical duo for hire in Frankston, VIC.
Fiddle and guitar, and a bigger sound than two people ought to make. Green Fieldz is Sally Carter alongside Keith Rea, playing Celtic tunes, folk on acoustic instruments, and covers reaching from the fifties through to the eighties around Frankston and beyond. They can lift it for a lively room or pull it right back when the occasion wants something quieter. Setup takes under an hour, they don't need much space, and they can bring their own PA. They also like to stay in touch with whoever is booking them in the lead-up, which tends to make the night run better. Performer insurance certificates available when a venue asks for them.
The show
Fiddle and guitar, and Green Fieldz make more noise between the two of them than the numbers suggest. Celtic material, acoustic folk and covers back through the decades, lifted when a Frankston room is up for it and pulled back when the moment calls for quiet. Friendly and efficient on the day, and they stay in touch with whoever is organising things in the run-up, so the night goes to plan rather than being worked out on arrival.
