Em&Ben is a musical duo for hire in Bendigo, VIC.
A duo out of Bendigo playing music that gets people off their chairs. Em and Ben keep the rig small on purpose: power and a bit of floor space and they're set. Add the drummer and they'll need a little more room, which they'll sort out with you beforehand. Weddings are a big part of what they do, and that can stretch to a requested first dance song, three hours of music, and the PA handed over for speeches. Acoustic covers stretching back through the 40s and up to the party end of the 90s.
On the day
They keep the rig deliberately small. A power point and a bit of floor space to fit into is genuinely all it takes, which makes them easy to place in a room that's already tight. If you want the drummer along as well, a little more space is needed, and they'll work that out with you beforehand rather than turning up and discovering the corner won't fit.
Performance options
The wedding package covers one special request song for the first dance, learned for you, plus three hours of music through the night. Access to their PA system for speeches is included with it, so nobody has to hire a separate mic or shout across the room. The whole thing works as an acoustic booking, or with the drummer added if you want more push behind the dancing sets.
