About
Distraction is a musical duo for hire in Ballina, NSW.
Two vocalists, Debi Martin and Brad Buckley, working a rock covers set together. The range is wide: The Eagles and The Angels, The Black Keys and Missy Higgins, Ed Sheeran, Elle King, then straight into Cold Chisel and The Choirboys when the night wants weight. Debi also takes on the rock chick material, Pink, Pat Benatar, Melissa Etheridge, Divinyls. They can chill it right down or push it hard, depending on the room. Full lighting and sound come with them, and the act can expand to three, four or five pieces if the budget and stage allow. They carry their own public liability cover.
Watch
The show
Two vocalists with years behind them and a set list wide enough to handle most rooms. Full lighting and a professional sound system come as part of the act. And if a duo isn't the right size for your venue, the same act expands to three, four or five pieces, with a drummer and lead guitarist who can genuinely play. Corporate work sits well within their range.
On the day
Somewhere under cover with standard power points nearby. Keeping the gear out of the weather is the only real condition, so an outdoor booking needs a marquee, a verandah or something similar over the performance area.
Insurance and paperwork
Public liability insured
