Day Dreams is a musical duo for hire in Perth, WA.
Karina and David make up Day Dreams, an acoustic pair from Perth playing pop and folk. Karina writes her own songs and brings that to the covers she sings. David's playing comes out of years in jazz and blues bands. Together they rework songs everybody knows into something a bit softer, and the room usually sings along. Expect Dancing Queen, Someone Like You, Valerie, Big Jet Plane, Toxic, Yellow, Bad Guy, plus a good run of Beatles and Creedence. Suits bars, weddings and events where you want music people recognise without it taking over the room.

The show
Two voices, two acoustic instruments, and songs everybody in the room already knows given a gentler treatment. Karina brings a pop and folk background, writing her own material and carrying that into the way she sings a cover. David has spent years in jazz and blues bands, and the overlap between those two tastes is where the duo came from. In practice you get a set people sing along with and, once the night warms up, dance to. Bars, weddings and events of most kinds suit it.
