Danomite is a musical duo for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Three acts under one name. DANOMITE works as a stripped-back acoustic duo for bars, wineries and quieter functions, as a pair playing over backing tracks when a room needs the weight of a bigger sound, or as a four-piece covers band when you want the real thing. The repertoire runs classic rock, pop and country: AC/DC, Cold Chisel, Dragon, Paul Kelly, Elton John, ELO, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Rolling Stones. Melbourne based, and they've played alongside plenty of names in the Australian scene over the years. The duo sets up in well under an hour, brings all its own PA and lighting, and covers rooms from intimate to large. Playlists fill the set breaks, and MC work is available if you need someone to hold the night together.

Classic tunes people know the words to, played by a duo who've been around the Australian scene long enough to read a room properly. Rock, pop and country make up most of the list. It can sit back at an easy volume or push into full dance floor territory depending on where the night goes. Between sets, playlists keep the room from falling silent. And if you need someone to hold the running order together and make announcements, MC work can be part of the booking.
On the day
All PA and equipment comes with them, wherever it's needed. The duo is usually set up and ready in 45 minutes to an hour, which is quicker than most. Between the sound and the lights they can fill a large room or keep things small and close for an intimate function, without the production fuss that normally comes attached.
