About
Chantelle and Jon is a musical duo for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Chantelle sings and Jon plays guitar through a looper pedal, layering percussion, bass and rhythm underneath her so the two of them fill more space than a duo should. Jon moves between jazz, R&B, rock, pop and soul. The songs lean soul and R&B: Back to Black, Rehab, Respect, Higher Ground, No Diggity, Proud Mary, Nutbush City Limits. Melbourne based. One power point and about 3m by 2m is all the space they need. Public liability insured.

The show
Chantelle's voice does the heavy lifting. She made the top 24 girls on The X Factor, scored 94 out of 100 on Channel 7's All Together Now, and has eight singles out plus a theme song she recorded for a children's TV show. Behind her, Jon works a looper pedal, stacking percussion, bass, rhythm guitar and lead lines on top of each other until two people sound like a band. He's played guitar in 14 countries and turns up at the Melbourne Guitar Show representing Musicman. Between them they move through jazz, R&B, rock, pop and soul, which covers most of what a wedding, a party or a corporate night needs.
