Booboo & The Bear is a musical duo for hire in Eltham, VIC.
Two blokes, a full PA and lighting rig, and a rack of costumes. Booboo & The Bear are a Victorian duo playing the 50s through to the 90s and beyond with a full band sound, and they've built themed shows to match: a reggae show, a Blues Brothers show, a retro 60s classics show and a disco show, costume changes included. The songbook runs from Eagle Rock and Beds Are Burning to September and Uptown Funk. Big stage or tiny corner, no problem. Fun and dancing are the whole point.

The show
Dancing, mostly. That is what the pair are aiming at, and the themed shows are how they get there: the disco set, the reggae set and the Blues Brothers set each come with their own costumes and their own mood, so the night has shape rather than just running one song into the next. Two players covering fifty years of hits with a full band sound behind them. Pick one theme or work several into the night, and either way the floor is meant to fill.
