Ian Grimwood

Ian Grimwood starts with a conversation rather than a contract. He'll ask what the event actually is, when it runs and what you're hoping for from the person holding the microphone, and the two of you get a feel for each other in the process. Only once that's clear does a quote follow, so everyone is working from the same picture. No surprises is how he puts it, and he means it as a working method: you'll know what's coming, and he stays in touch before the day, on the day and afterwards.

A microphone. That's genuinely all Ian needs for MC work. Facilitation is a different conversation, since what the room needs depends on what you're covering in the session, so we'll work through that together.

Ian takes on a fairly wide range of work. MCing an event, facilitating a workshop, or running LEGO Serious Play sessions. If what you have in mind is more complicated than any of those, it's worth asking, because it can usually be worked out.
