About
Julianbullmagic is a magician for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Coins, cards, balls, cups, spoons, rubber bands, balloons, paper. Julianbullmagic works close-up sleight of hand with more or less whatever is to hand, and after sixteen years of professional shows the hands are quick. Bookings have come from Luna Park, Ikea, Myer, Westfield, Dolby, Toll, the MCA, 2DayFM, Archie Brothers and the GPO Grand, plus the usual run of weddings, birthdays, festivals and corporate functions. Some of the tricks in the set are original inventions. The act is compact and needs no stage: a borrowed table and chair help, though those can be brought along, and a microphone is only needed for a big crowd.
Watch
The show
Sleight of hand at arm's length, using whatever happens to be around. Rope, coins, pencils, paper, balls, cards, cups, spoons, napkins, rubber bands. Almost every prop is either made by Julian himself or an ordinary object you could buy at any shopping centre, which is part of why it lands so hard. He invents tricks as well as performing them. Sixteen years of regular professional shows sit behind it, across weddings, birthdays, festivals and corporate functions. Worth knowing: because the props are small and have to be seen properly, the show suits audiences under about 100 people.
On the day
Close to nothing. The act is compact and needs no stage or dedicated area. A table and chair he can borrow make things easier, though he'll bring his own if your venue can't spare them. For a larger crowd a microphone helps, and he can supply a headset one himself. He does need the exact time and address confirmed before the date is locked in.
