Watch
The show
Drums and dancers, and the volume comes from the players rather than a PA. The most popular booking is the full drum and dance show, up to 30 minutes, either parading through a space or performing in one spot. There are never fewer than 10 performers and it's often 20 to 30, which is what makes it feel like carnival rather than a demonstration. High impact is the honest description. You can also book samba dancers on their own, or the drummers on their own, if that suits the shape of your event better.
On the day
Very little. No amplification is needed, which makes them straightforward outdoors and in spaces where power is awkward. What they do need is somewhere to change into costume and a spot to store gear while they're on. Give them those two things and a route through the crowd if they're parading, and the rest looks after itself.
