About
Petris Lapis is a keynote speaker for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Petris Lapis works on the people side of business: communication, teamwork, resilience, mindsets and balance. Every workshop gets built for the audience in front of her rather than pulled off a shelf, and she'll ring you before the event to understand who's in the room. There's humour in it, pitched carefully, which matters when the topic is a hard one. She works as both an MC and a keynote presenter with professional bodies around Australia. The underlying idea is a kinder and braver kind of workplace, filled with people willing to bring their best selves to the table. Brisbane based. Needs a projector, screen and a mic, handheld or lapel.
The show
Warm, engaging and easy to deal with, with a track record of high ratings from the people in the room. Petris Lapis will ring you before the event so she knows who she is presenting to and can build the workshop around them. Professional bodies right around Australia book her, sometimes to present a keynote and sometimes to hold a whole day together as MC. Expect replies to come back quickly and expect her to be organised and on time, which sounds unremarkable until you have had a speaker who was neither.
On the day
A data projector, a screen and a microphone are the usual requirements. She is happy holding a mic or wearing a lapel one, so whichever type your venue already runs is fine and there is no need to hire in a particular kind. Check with the venue that the projector and screen are part of the room rather than an extra.
