He came out the other side with a Psychological Sciences degree. The talk covers discipline, focus, purpose, cognitive behaviour therapy and executive functioning, and it lands hard on what workplace ignorance about mental health actually costs. The show
Ashley writes each talk for the booking in front of him. Nothing is recycled between events, so what your audience hears is theirs. The story runs from an unconventional upbringing through organised crime in Australia and private security work, to a sentence at Lotus Glen Correctional in Far North Queensland, and out the other side into a Psychological Sciences degree. It isn't a war story session and he's firm about that. The point is redemption, finding purpose, and what management gains by understanding mental health properly instead of guessing at it.
On the day
A microphone and a projector is the ideal setup, and most venues already have both. If yours doesn't, Ashley can bring his own equipment along, so a room without AV isn't a problem. He runs self sufficient either way.
