About
Just Play Karaoke is a karaoke host for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
No dead air, no clunky gear, no queue of people waiting for the tech to sort itself out. Just Play Karaoke run the whole thing as a hosted show, with an MC who keeps the energy up and quietly makes sure the shy ones get a turn. Guests scan a QR code to request songs, which kills the awkward pause between singers. Big lyric screens, wireless mics and a proper PA all come along, and if your venue already has an audio visual system they'll work with it. Birthdays, engagements, work parties, a house full of people on a Saturday night. Brisbane based. Setup and pack down are theirs to worry about.
The show
It's a hosted show, not a machine in the corner. An MC keeps things moving and, more usefully, gets the quiet ones on the microphone without making a scene of it. The gear is proper: real sound, wireless mics, and lyric screens big enough that people at the back can read them. Song requests go in by QR code, which removes the shuffling gap where somebody's scrolling on a phone looking for a track. Birthday, engagement, work party or a full house on a Saturday, the tone gets pitched to your crowd. Setup and pack down are theirs to handle.
On the day
Everything needed comes with them: PA, wireless microphones and the lyric screens. Nothing on your list. One thing worth mentioning at enquiry, though, is whether your venue already has its own audio visual system, because they'd rather know in advance and plan to work with it than find it on the day.
