The show
Karaoke run like an actual show. Full front of house sound, a proper lighting rig, and professional vocalists hosting the night rather than someone reading names off a list. The song list is past 70,000 titles, which in practice means the obscure request somebody in the room is desperate for is probably in there. Singers who can hold a tune get a real production behind them, and the ones who can't have a good time anyway.
On the day
Undercover space, since the rig can't be out in the weather. You'll need mains power and enough open floor for a large setup, so check the room before you book.
