About
Le Ron Hubble is a juggler for hire in Thornbury, VIC.
Crystal balls, rolled and turned across the hands and arms until they appear to float free of gravity. That's contact juggling, and Le Ron Hubble is one of the world's leading practitioners of it. The show can be a single ball choreographed to music for five minutes, a multi ball routine building from one to eight, a freestyle dance demonstration, or a fire contact ball set. There's also an eight minute piece paired with projected psychedelic visuals, and workshops if you want the audience having a go themselves. For a daytime show all that's needed is two square metres and a way to play music. LED lighting and a PA come along for night events.
Watch
The show
For a full show Le Ron arrives about half an hour ahead, more if the tech is involved, and gets the lighting and audio sorted before anyone sees him. Then a short introduction and the first routine. From there it can break, come back as roving entertainment through the crowd, and finish with a final performance. Splitting it that way keeps the contact juggling as a proper moment twice over rather than one long stretch.
On the day
In daylight it's genuinely simple: a clear space of two metres by two, and some way to play his music through your audio. That's a basic show sorted. At night, or in a venue with no sound system, he can bring LED lighting and a PA of his own, so the same show works in a room that has nothing.
