About
SignyJanelle is a jazz singer for hire in Toowoomba, QLD.
Signy Janelle is a Canadian vocalist based in Toowoomba, working across acoustic, jazz, blues and soul. She shifts vocal style to suit the room, which is why the same singer fits a wedding, a corporate function and a Saturday morning market or cafe. Her song list carries plenty of smooth, easy-listening material for the quieter jobs. Performance highlights include the Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards, the Darling Downs Tourism Gala and the Toowoomba Flower Food and Wine Festival. For bigger nights she calls in jazz and blues players from around the Darling Downs, so you can book her solo or as a duo, trio, or a four to five piece that moves from dinner music to swing to pop across one evening. All she needs is power.
Watch
The show
Signy sings, and depending on the night that's either just her and a guitar or a full band behind her. She calls on jazz and blues players from around the Darling Downs when the job is bigger, and those ensembles can carry an entire evening on their own: elegant dinner music early, swinging jazz standards through the middle, classic pop and rock anthems once people are up. Duo, trio, or four to five pieces. It suits weddings, parties and the sort of corporate function where the music has to be right.
On the day
Everything comes with her. Sound, gear, the lot. The one thing she can't bring is electricity, so all your venue has to supply is a power source somewhere near where she's playing. That's genuinely the entire list.
