On the day
One practical thing to sort before the night: Nellie needs a private room to change in, and she needs it both before she goes on and again once she comes off. Costume changes are part of a burlesque and cabaret set, so a quiet space with a door that shuts is worth locking in when you talk to the venue. A back office or a spare function room does the job.
