About
Swing-Set is a jazz band for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Smooth, soulful and relaxed enough to talk over, with enough playfulness to reward anyone actually listening. Swing-Set are jazz musicians based in south-east Queensland, working through the classics of the catalogue. Book them as a quartet with piano, guitar, bass and kit, or add saxophone for a quintet. They'll shape the set to your preferences rather than run a fixed list. Transport and gear are theirs, and all they ask for is two power points. Every member is insured.
On the day
They sort their own transport and turn up with every piece of gear they play through, so there's no PA or backline to organise at your end. Two power points for the speakers is the whole ask. Give a four or five piece jazz group a reasonable corner and they'll do the rest.
Performance options
There are two sizes to choose between. The quartet is piano, guitar, bass and kit. Add saxophone and it becomes a quintet.
