Every member of Scat came through the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, and it shows in how little fuss the band makes. They read a room fast, whether it's forty people at an album launch or a full hall at a black tie awards night. Some have toured overseas, and there's Ten Tenors work in the group's history. The Brisbane jazz and corporate circuit is home turf. Scat suits appeal dinners, university balls, conference entertainment, community festivals and church services, and they've done concerts and in-store appearances as well. If you want jazz that pulls guests in rather than sitting politely in a corner, this is the sort of band that does it.

Absolutely amazing! All guests loved them and asked how we found them. So we will refer them on for any future event as we are asked and definitely would love to have this band again to celebrate further special family occasions. Very talented and very entertaining. Please pass on our enormous gratitude to all band members for making Amy & Nicolas's wedding so entertaining and successful!

They were fabulous. The 21 year olds were insistant; they loved Scat. The crowd talked loudly however so I do hope the members of Scat will have good memories of the evening. I trust they will forgive the talkative crowd. Scat was thanked on the video and in all the hub-bub I do hope they feel they were thanked enough by various individuals. We had planned to ask them to come forward and I think my husband thought they were going to speak themselves at some point so it is difficult in hindsight to work out why it panned out differently. I do apologize if they expected different protocol. It was our first experience with hiring a band. Thank you again.
