About

Sally Cooper Jazz is a jazz band for hire in Brisbane, QLD.

Sally Cooper sings the divas, and she sings them as though she wrote them. Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Billie Holiday, Norah Jones, Eva Cassidy, Janis Joplin. It's a wide stretch of voices to take on and it works because she isn't imitating any of them. Sally and Phillip Stone are the core of the duo, with other players joining as needed to make a trio or a five piece band, so the sound can suit a quiet cocktail hour or a room that wants more. Weddings, private parties, venues, cocktail functions and corporate events.
