About
Project Rosco Jazz is a jazz band for hire in Perth, WA.
Project Rosco play funky and jazzy material with Latin flavours, ballads and soul numbers in the mix. Guitar, bass and drums are the core, and from there the band adds a vocalist, pianist, saxophonist or trumpeter, which means anything from a duo up to a sextet. They are honest about what they are: not a top 40 dance band, though the funkier end of the repertoire tends to win the room over anyway and a few guests usually end up on the floor. The members all met studying at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Past work includes the Hyatt, the Sheraton, Sandalford Winery and Telstra Rally Australia across 2004 to 2006. Best suited to cocktail functions, wedding receptions and corporate events.
