About
Plan B is a jazz band for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Singer Anna Quayle fronts this modern jazz quartet, drawn from musicians working the coast. The material comes mostly from the Great American Songbook, with George Shearing, Hoagy Carmichael and Miles Davis among the composers they keep returning to. Saxophone and flute carry a lot of the colour. There is blues and reggae in the mix as well, and enough contemporary material to get people dancing if that is what the night calls for. Plan B suit corporate events, festivals, lounge rooms and private functions where the music is meant to be listened to, not just tolerated.
