About
Nuages is a jazz band for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Nuages is French for clouds, and also the Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli tune this trio took its name from. Guitar, voice and double bass, playing jazz and swing standards, Latin numbers and a handful of contemporary songs turned to suit the format. They work regularly around Brisbane venues, so the repertoire is road-tested rather than rehearsed for the occasion. It sits well under conversation at a wedding or a corporate dinner, and holds its own when people actually stop and listen.
