About
Glyn Macdonald Jazz is a jazz band for hire in Perth, WA.
Piano, bass and drums, with a wide net for influences. The Glyn MacDonald jazz trio pairs Glyn MacDonald on piano with Michael Perkins on drums and either Sam Anning or Pete Jeavons on bass, pulling from classical through to Latin and landing on swing that's hard not to tap along to. Between them they've shared stages with James Morrison, Terrell Stafford, Gary Bartz, Harry Connick Jr and Jamie Ohlers. For bigger rooms the line up grows on request, anywhere from a vocal quartet up to a 21 piece show band. Cocktail functions, weddings, corporate events and private parties all sit comfortably in their range.

A Foggy Day
Almost like being in love
As time goes by
Autumn in New York
Bye bye Blackbird
Caravan
Detour Ahead
Don’t get around much any- more
Fly me to the moon
Georgia on my mind
God bless the child
Heres that rainy day
How deep is the ocean
How high the moon

Glyn and his partner were excellent. We would highly recommend them to anyone having a function requiring some light jazz music. A lot of our clients commented on how good they were.

The reception went well, thanks. My wife and I were very happy with the band’s performance; and they were a pleasure to deal with.
