About
Blue Monk Jazz is a jazz band for hire in Perth, WA.
Old standards rearranged in a modern style, bebop, jazzed up pop tunes, jump and jive for the swing dancers, soulful blues, and enough rock and funk to keep a dance floor honest. Blue Monk Jazz play instrumental and vocal sets, and the sound sits on the sophisticated, easy listening side. The line-up is flexible: solo guitar, duo, trio, quartet or quintet, depending on the size of the room. This Perth group works weddings, engagements, corporate functions, dinner dances and birthday parties.

We were so pleased with the Jazz trio that we think we should plan another “event” in the warmer months. The night passed in a blur! Our guests were impressed as were we. Thank you to Blue Monk Jazz.

It was a brilliant night all round - the theme was Gatsby & Gangsters - where all dressed accordingly and the band perfectly filled the role. Lots of appreciative feedback.

They were everything I had envisaged and more. They dressed up, we’re so professional, just really set the scene Everyone commented on how great they were. Now I just need to organise another party so I can hire them again.
