About
Artisan Jazz Project is a jazz band for hire in Adelaide, SA.
Fly Me to the Moon drifting across a winery lawn is roughly the mood. Artisan Jazz Project is a five to six piece Adelaide band playing cool jazz standards, vocals and instrumentals both: Black Coffee, Girl from Ipanema, Take 5, Hit the Road Jack, Moondance and a songbook that runs much deeper. They suit weddings, wineries, corporate functions and festivals, and they bring all their own amplification; the venue only needs power. Interstate bookings can be arranged too.
The show
Five or six players working through cool jazz standards, vocal numbers and instrumentals both. It's music that sits nicely under conversation and still rewards anyone who stops to listen. Weddings, wineries, corporate functions and festivals are where they spend most of their time.
On the day
Access to power. All the amplification is theirs. In the CBD they'll need loading and unloading access plus car parking for the duration, since a six piece band arrives with a fair bit of gear. Interstate bookings need flights, transfers, accommodation, meals and drinks covered by the host.
Performance options
Ask for a quote and they'll put one together for your event. A travel allowance applies to gigs more than 100km out from the Adelaide GPO.
