About
Mastering thematic analysis is an industry expert speaker for hire in Perth, WA.
Reflexive thematic analysis is not a topic that sells itself, and Mel's job is to make it land anyway. Her doctoral research used the method to examine literacy programs, and she's built a practice out of turning that kind of dense methodology into something a room of researchers can actually apply on Monday. Sessions are pitched at the cohort in front of her, with real examples rather than abstractions, and people tend to leave with more confidence about their own data than they walked in with. Formats run from a thirty minute lunchtime session through a full length keynote to half day and full day workshops. Perth based, and she presents virtually as well.

The show
Mel takes reflexive thematic analysis, which is dense on the page, and makes it usable by the end of the session. She pitches to the cohort in the room rather than delivering the same talk everywhere, and she works through real examples instead of abstract ones. Expect to leave with a clearer sense of how to handle your own data, plus strategies you can actually apply to the research you're already doing. Researchers who came in unsure about their analysis tend to walk out steadier about it.
Performance options
Four formats, and the right one depends on how much time your people can give. Lunchtime Learning is a 30 minute session that fits in a break. A keynote runs 45 to 60 minutes. Then there are workshops: half a day at four hours, or a full day at six to eight if you want the group working hands-on with their own material. Perth based, and she presents virtually too.
