About
Henry John Stage Hypnosis is a hypnotist for hire in Newcastle, NSW.
Nearly thirty years of stage hypnosis sits behind Henry John, working community groups, charities, sporting and licensed clubs and corporate functions around Newcastle. No two shows land the same way, because the audience and the volunteers are the show. Anyone who wants to experience hypnosis gets the chance, and the best of them come up on stage, where the state gets deepened through a series of tests and skits. Nobody gets insulted and nobody leaves embarrassed. The point is watching people you know do things you'd have sworn were impossible. Shows run anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes, and the tone can be pitched family friendly or aimed squarely at adults. He needs a microphone, chairs on stage, and a projection of the show name behind him.
Watch
The show
Everyone in the room who wants to experience hypnosis gets the chance. From there Henry John brings the best of them up on stage, and the hypnotic state gets deepened through a run of tests and skits. Nobody gets insulted and nobody goes back to their seat embarrassed. What people mostly come away with is amazement, at their own imagination and at what they've just watched their mates do. And you'll laugh yourself sick along the way.
On the day
A microphone, chairs set up on stage for the volunteers who come up, and AV projection behind the stage showing the show name. That is the whole list, and none of it is unusual for a room that already runs events.
Performance options
Show length is flexible, anywhere from 45 minutes to a full 90. Tone is flexible too, pitched family friendly or aimed squarely at an adult crowd. Tell Henry which one you need and how long you want to fill.
