Josie is a hula hoop act for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.

Josie hoops, and glows. Roving spots run by the hour up to a three hour call, covering freestyle and interactive hooping, glow performance, meet and greet as guests arrive, mingling and photos, or a podium set. The rhythm is 10 minutes on and 10 off for smaller events, 20 and 20 for bigger ones. Options include glow hoops, glow wings and programmable pixel poi that can spin your logo out in the air. There's a kids' side too: circus workshops, giant bubbles, glitter tattoos, and character and emoji poi that appear in 3D. Public liability insurance and a Working With Children Check are in place. A green room and close parking are needed.

The show

Josie works the room rather than a stage, so you can book her by the hour and stretch it out to a three hour call. Within that she can freestyle, hand hoops to guests who want a go, run a glow set, greet people as they arrive, mingle and pose for photos, or take a podium and stay there. She paces it in bursts. Ten minutes on, ten off, at a smaller party. Twenty and twenty when the crowd is bigger and there's more floor to cover.

On the day

She needs somewhere private and comfortable to base herself for the whole booking, a green room that stays hers and stays secure. And parking close to the entrance, at no cost, because there's kit to carry in and costume changes to make between sets.

Performance options

Three directions to pick from. The Luminous Glow option runs one to three performers across a two hour call: two ten minute glow hoop sets, a ten minute glow wing set, and ten minutes of programmable pixel poi that can spin your logo out in mid air. The Circus Day option is an hour of hula hoops followed by an hour of silk fans and flag poi. And for a kids' event there's a two hour circus workshop space, an hour of giant bubbles, and an hour of roving broken into three ten minute bursts.
