About
Jess is a hula hoop act for hire in Perth, WA.
Over 10 years in the industry and a touring history that runs from Cambodia to the Bahamas. Jess builds hula hoop routines around a big soundtrack and syncs every movement to it, so the act reads as a proper choreographed piece rather than a roving skill display. High energy, fierce, and paced to hold a crowd start to finish. Themed routines and kids' routines are both available, and the wider skill set takes in acrobatics, balancing, stilts and circus workshops. Requirements are simple: a four by four metre flat surface and a sound system. Public liability insurance and a Working With Children Check are held. Based in Perth.
Watch
The show
This isn't a roving skills display. Jess builds a routine to a big soundtrack and locks every movement to it, so what you get is a proper choreographed piece with a beginning and an end. High energy the whole way through, and fierce with it. She holds the crowd from the first beat rather than letting attention drift, which is the difference between a hoop act people watch and one they walk past.
On the day
Four metres by four, flat and clear, is the space she needs to work in. Beyond that it's a sound system, since the whole routine runs to music.
Performance options
The routine can be themed if your event has one to match. And there's a separate version written for kids' audiences.
