About
Gastropodia is a roving entertainer for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Giant hairy snail puppets carry woodland imps through the crowd in Gastropodia. Moving body parts, a musical score and a watery trail bring the creatures to life. Two performers usually appear, with a solo version possible. The roving act has visited street and arts festivals in Australia and Japan, offering curious encounters and photo moments along the way.
