About
Wolf's Tales is a folk band for hire in Brighton, QLD.
Wolf's Tales is a concert act, not a background one, and Frank Frikker says so plainly. The band runs three to five members and plays mostly original songs, with a few covers, built on storytelling, satire, poetry and social observation. The music underneath shifts between folk, folk rock, blues, jazz and country depending on the song. The aim is to make an audience laugh, think and actually listen, which makes it a feature spot on a bill rather than a dance band. They bring their own equipment and need power and light.

The show
This is a concert act, and Frank Frikker is upfront that it isn't a dance band or background music. The songs are mostly his own, built on storytelling, humour and satire, poetry and observations about the world, set to folk, folk rock, blues, jazz or country depending on what the song wants. Audiences laugh, then think, then actually listen. Best used as a feature spot on a bill, where people are facing the stage rather than talking over it.
On the day
The band brings its own gear. From you they need two things: power, and enough light to see what they're playing. Nothing else appears on their list.

As we mainly play originals this does not apply to us.
