About
Scarab is a fire performer for hire in Pascoe Vale, VIC.
Fire eating needs about a metre of clear ground. Everything else Scarab does wants two. That's the whole ask, because the insurance, safety gear, fuel handling, costumes and props all come as part of the booking rather than an extra line on the quote. Corporate nights, community events and private parties all work, and there's a troupe available when one performer isn't enough. Special effects powders add colour to the flame. A range of costuming means the look can be matched to a theme. Also a welcoming act for LGBTQIA+ audiences. Based in Pascoe Vale, Victoria, and also books as a fire twirler, LED performer, roving entertainer and circus act.

The show
A fire show, and one that arrives complete. Scarab supplies the insurance, the fire and fuel safety equipment, the costumes and the props, all of it included in the booking rather than added on top as separate charges. For an organiser that removes most of the paperwork and logistics that usually come attached to putting flame in front of an audience.
On the day
Space is the only real requirement, and not much of it. Fire eating fits inside a single metre square. Every other prop in the show wants a minimum of two metres by two. Measure the spot you have in mind against those two figures and you will know straight away which parts of the act your venue can hold.
