The show
Four shows sit under this name. The Fire Show mixes martial arts, acrobatics and circus with choreographed work on fire sword, fire nunchucks, double fire staff, dragon staff, poi and rope dart. The XL Fire Show goes bigger: wrist flamethrowers, large fire props, fire breathing at key moments and a Lycopodium finale, a plant based powder that flares and vanishes without a trace. LED Shows swap flame for light, drawing trails through the dark with high density LED staff and sword. The Martial Arts Show is weapon flow choreographed to music, using LARP swords made of latex coated foam over fibreglass.
On the day
Overhead clearance of up to 2 metres is needed whichever show you book. Floor space depends on which one. Most shows want a minimum of 3 by 3 metres. The XL Fire Show and anything involving fire breathing needs a good deal more, at least 5 by 6 metres. Setup is quick, somewhere between 10 and 20 minutes, so it slots into a run sheet without eating a chunk of your evening.
