About
Flux Entertainment is a fire performer for hire in Sunshine Coast, QLD.
Fire, and quite a bit more than fire. Flux run handheld pyrotechnic shows where the performers dance holding live fireworks, plus angle grinding, whip cracking and portable aerial work on lyra, silks and pole. They bring their own rigging. Shows come as solo, duo or larger group pieces, choreographed to suit whoever's watching, which is why they turn up at ag shows, festivals, corporate nights and weddings alike. Fuels and materials are the good stuff and safety measures go in at every event. Licensed pyrotechnics, fully insured, and permits sorted where the venue needs them. Based on the Sunshine Coast.
Watch
The show
Handheld pyrotechnics is the part people remember, performers dancing while holding live fireworks. Around that sits fire, angle grinding, whip cracking and aerial work. The pieces are choreographed rather than improvised, and they're pitched to suit whoever is watching, which is how the same crew works an ag show, a festival and a wedding. Materials and fuels are the good stuff, and safety is treated as part of the show rather than an afterthought.
On the day
Depends on the event, so talk through the space when you enquire. They arrive with their own supplies, including portable aerial rigging, so you don't need to provide anything to hang from. Fire safety measures go in at every booking.
Performance options
The fire show runs as a solo, a duo or a larger group. The handheld pyrotechnics show is the one you won't find elsewhere in the country. Aerial entertainment covers lyra, silks and pole dancing, and can be combined with the fire and pyro material into a single longer piece. Whip cracking and angle grinding get added as extras within a show. There's also roving fire or flow, day or night, and straight dance.
