About
Pixie Moon Parties is a fairy costume character for hire in Mulgrave, VIC.
Fairy parties are the bread and butter, along with unicorns, pirate fairies, Snow Queen and a glitter bar. Custom themes get built on request, K-Pop included. Pixie Moon Parties runs a paced hour or two rather than a loose free for all: games, music, dancing, imaginative play, bubbles, themed activities, with face painting or glitter if you want it. Party bags and favours are included for every child. Setup needs a small shaded outdoor patch or an indoor space, shelter if the weather turns, and a table with two chairs if you have them. Everything else comes with the entertainer. Balloon twisting, bubble work, costumed characters and tarot are all on offer too. Working with Children Check held. Based in Mulgrave, travelling across Melbourne.
The show
It's a paced hour or so rather than kids left to their own devices. Games, music, dancing, imaginative play, bubbles and themed activities all run in an order, with the children guided through each bit. Face painting or glitter goes on the list if you want it. Themes cover fairies, unicorns, kids' yoga, K-Pop and plenty more, and party bags and favours are included for every child. Parents generally find the structure is the difference between a good party and a loud one.
On the day
A small shaded patch outside or an indoor room is enough, with something to shelter under if it rains or blows up. A table and two chairs help if you happen to have them. Giant bubbles and the outdoor games want a bit of open ground, weather permitting. Everything else the entertainer brings. One thing worth mentioning when you book: if parking is difficult where you are, say so early, because extra time needs to be built in.
Performance options
Three tiers, and they run on length. The shortest is an hour of games, prizes, music, dancing and bubbles, with sparkle glitter faces for up to a dozen children. The middle one stretches to 90 minutes with the same run of activities and express sparkly face painting for up to 15. And the longest goes two hours and adds your choice of face painting or balloon twisting, covering up to 20 kids. Pick by how many children are coming and how long you can hold their attention.
