About
Professional face and body painting for young and old is a face painting act for hire in Townsville, QLD.
Twenty seven years of face painting in Townsville, and the queue-management skill that comes with it. Speed is the point here: long lines move fast, and no child gets turned away at the end. Hundreds of designs to pick from, covering both face and body painting, plus balloon animals. Everything arrives with her, table and chairs included. All she asks for is a shady spot to work in. Available for birthday parties and larger events, and she holds a Blue Card.
The show
The thing that separates an experienced face painter from a new one is what happens when the line gets long. Twenty seven years in, she keeps it moving and nobody gets sent away at the end because time ran out. There are hundreds of designs to choose from and she does bodies as well as faces, so the kids who want a full arm sleeve of dragon scales are covered. Balloon animals come into it too. She's friendly with the children and quick with the brush, and those two things together are why parents keep rebooking her.
On the day
She turns up with the lot, including her own table and chairs, so there's nothing for you to hunt down beforehand. The one thing she does ask for is a shady spot to set up in. Worth thinking about if you're in a park or a backyard in the middle of a Townsville summer, since both she and the kids waiting in line will be standing in it for a while.
Performance options
Birthday parties are booked by the number of children rather than by the hour, with a smaller party size and a larger one to choose between. Both cover face painting and balloon animals together. Bigger events, fetes and the like, are booked hourly with a two hour minimum. Say roughly how many kids you're expecting when you enquire and she'll tell you which shape fits.
