About

Disco Kids Au is an event services business for hire in Sydney, NSW.

Silent disco is the core of it, and Disco Kids Au have built out from there: silent mindful movement, silent circus, silent hula hoops and bubble disco. Amanda leads the team, and the format works because headphones hold a room of children in a way a speaker never quite does. They run school incursions, vacation care, daycare sessions for toddlers and preschoolers, birthday parties, community events and corporate family days, right across Australia. Most packages run 1.5 hours, with 30, 45 and 60 minute options. Staff hold working with children checks, police checks, first aid and current public liability cover.

The show

Headphones change how a room of children behaves. That's the thing that makes silent disco work where a speaker doesn't, and it's the core of what Disco Kids Au do. Amanda leads the team, and sessions are built so every child gets involved rather than a confident few dominating. Alongside the disco there's silent mindful movement, silent circus, silent hula hoops and bubble disco, so a booking can be pitched at toddlers or at older kids depending on who's coming.

On the day

What the space needs depends on which session you pick, and that is worth sorting early. A hall full of hula hoops asks for different room to a toddler bubble session in a daycare corner, and an outdoor community day is different again. Tell the team the activity, the venue and roughly how many children are coming, and they will work the practical side out with you from there.

Performance options

Silent disco is the specialty, with the other silent activities built around it. They run school and vacation care incursions, daycare sessions pitched at toddlers and preschoolers, birthday parties, community events and festivals, and corporate family days, working right across Australia. Staff hold working with children checks, police checks and first aid, and the business carries current public liability cover.
