Shane Tane

Shane Tane is a New Zealand born drummer who plays for a number of Sydney bands, working across R&B, reggae, rock, soul and funk. He's after a feel good pocket, which is drummer talk for the groove that makes people move without thinking about it. As he puts it, making the dance floor move is the job. That's the right instinct in a rhythm player, and it's the difference between a band that's technically fine and one people dance to.
