About
Ja-mie Displays is a drag queen for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Ja'mie Displays is a dancer, choreographer and host with 18 years in the performing arts, much of it overseas. Live vocals, big choreography and costumes that do half the talking. The show comes in a few shapes: a full drag performance for nightclubs, corporate nights and large celebrations; hosting and emcee work for galas and fundraisers, where the job is keeping things moving with wit and a bit of audience wrangling; hens parties with games, a cheeky dance lesson and a singalong; and drag bingo or trivia. Based in Brisbane. Public liability insurance and a Blue Card are held.

The show
Live vocals, big choreography and costumes that carry half the show on their own. Ja-mie Displays has 18 years in the performing arts, a lot of it overseas, and the stage presence is the thing people notice first. It's theatrical rather than subtle. Depending on what you book, that might mean a full performance, or hosting duties where the job is keeping a long evening moving with wit and a bit of crowd wrangling. Either way the energy stays high from the first number.
Performance options
Several shapes, and they can be mixed. The full drag show is live vocals, choreography and costume, built for nightclubs, corporate nights and big celebrations. Hosting and emcee work suits galas and fundraisers. There's a hens party version with games, a cheeky dance lesson and a singalong, plus drag bingo and trivia nights, a hosted lip-sync battle between your guests, and a cabaret set built around live singing and storytelling for smaller rooms and dinner shows. A dance and choreography package covers custom routines or a group session. There's a family-friendly show pitched for community events and pride celebrations, and a meet and greet with photos if you want the guests spoken to up close.
