About
Magnus Opium is a drag performer for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Magnus Opium is a Dharawal and Illawarra based drag king, singer and MC, triple crowned, winner of Universal's The Crown in 2024 and runner up in Slay 2 Stay in 2025. The vocals are the standout, velvet where you might expect belting, and the whole act runs on camp electricity and a great deal of glitter. Sydney based. A drag king who genuinely sings is a rarer booking than a lip sync act, and it makes for a different kind of show.
