About
Kandii Rhinestone is a drag performer for hire in Newcastle, NSW.
Big hair, bigger costumes. Kandii Rhinestone has been doing drag since 2012, with venues across New South Wales, the ACT and Victoria on the CV, and works Newcastle and beyond as a host, performer and someone who'll actually get out and mingle with your guests. Hens parties, birthdays, bingo and trivia nights, work functions: all of it fits. The music is upbeat and sets the tone early. Kandii arrives 10 or 15 minutes ahead, brings two speakers and a wireless mic, and needs no help getting set up. Additional queens can be added, with choreographed numbers when there are two or more on the floor. Public liability insurance is held.
Watch
The show
Big hair, fabulous costumes, and Kandii Rhinestone dressed to impress before a word is said. Two speakers and a wireless mic come along, so the performance carries and every guest can hear the hosting between numbers rather than just the ones near the front. Upbeat music sets the tone early. It works for hens parties, birthdays, bingo and trivia nights and work functions, and Kandii will get out among your guests rather than staying on the floor.
On the day
Kandii turns up 10 or 15 minutes ahead of the start and handles the whole setup alone, speakers and wireless mic included. Nobody at your end needs to lift anything or stand around waiting, and there's no gear for the venue to provide.
Performance options
One queen is the standard booking. You can add more, and once there are two or more on the floor there are choreographed numbers in the repertoire, which changes the shape of the show quite a bit.
