About
SOUL OF SYDNEY DJ's & Friends is a DJ for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Watch
The show
Funk, soul and disco, played by a group of DJs who work alongside dancers and other performers. So the shape of the night depends on who you book from the collective. It can be one DJ holding the floor, or a much bigger thing with people moving in front of the decks.
On the day
The technical needs change with the kind of booking and how the space is set up, so the gear list is written per event rather than copied from the last one. SOUL OF SYDNEY DJ's & Friends put together a tech spec once the format is settled and send it through before the day, so the venue knows what's coming.
Performance options
Book the DJ on their own. Add an MC. Add dancers on top of that. Or go further and bring live acts into the set alongside the DJ, or book the live acts by themselves. Audio and production gear can come as part of the arrangement rather than being sorted separately.
Song list
Various sets depending on type of event.
