About
Purient is a DJ for hire in South Yarra, VIC.
Purient is the electronic project of producer and DJ Kate Durman, a fixture of Naarm's underground scene and one third of the dream-pop band Acopia. The work moves between dance-pop, downtempo, club material and dream-pop, and it's built as whole sonic worlds rather than track after track. Based in South Yarra, Melbourne. Emotive is the word that keeps coming up, and it's accurate.
