About
Party Time Airways Entertainment is a DJ for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
DJ Vulcan has been working Melbourne venues, corporate rooms, birthdays, weddings, sporting clubs and uni nights for 16 years, and Party Time Airways is where that experience now lives. The music sits in the eighties, nineties and Y2K era: disco, old school RnB, pub classics and singalong party anthems, with plenty either side of that. Theme nights are a specialty, from retro and Great Gatsby through to Halloween and tribute nights built around one artist, with the playlist put together to match. The rig is proper club standard: sound system, DJ console, intelligent lighting, wireless mics for speeches, and a portable DJ booth so the front of house looks tidy. Melbourne wide.
The show
DJ Vulcan has 16 years behind the decks and the collection to match. Eighties, nineties and the Y2K years are home ground: disco, old school RnB singalongs, pub classics and the party anthems a room will shout back at you. Plenty either side of that too. He works venue nights, corporate functions, sporting club presentations, 21sts through to 50ths, weddings and theme nights. What you get is someone who's seen enough rooms to know when to hold a song back and when to drop it.
On the day
Everything comes with him. Sound system, club standard DJ console, intelligent lighting for the room, and wireless microphones so speeches actually get heard. There's a professional portable DJ booth too, which keeps the front of house looking tidy rather than like a table with gear piled on it. You supply the space and the power.
Performance options
Venue DJ work, corporate hire, sporting club presentation and awards nights, and private events. Theme nights are the specialty and the playlist gets built to match the theme: retro, disco, nineties, Y2K anthems, an RnB night, Halloween, Great Gatsby. There are also tribute nights built around a single artist, where the whole set is shaped around one catalogue.
