About
Party Mode DJs is a DJ for hire in Mogo, NSW.
Open format, which in practice means no fixed set list and no genre they're locked out of. Pop and Top 40, club classics, house, hip hop and RnB, rock and Aussie standards, seventies through to the noughties. Party Mode DJs will take your must-play list before the event and your do-not-play list too, then read the room on the night and move accordingly. They cover the South Coast of New South Wales including the Illawarra, Southern Highlands, Shoalhaven, Eurobodalla and the Sapphire Coast. Fully self contained with professional sound and party lighting. They need one 240V outlet, two to three metres of width, cover from the weather if you're outdoors, and about an hour to bump in. Tell them about noise curfews early.
The show
No fixed set list, which is the whole point of an open format DJ. Party Mode arrive set up and ready before your guests notice anyone's working. Background music while people are eating and talking, then the volume and the tempo climb when it's time. Pop and Top 40, club classics, house, hip hop and RnB, rock, Aussie standards, seventies through to the noughties. Send your must-play list beforehand, and the do-not-play list too, because that one's often more useful. On the night they'll watch the floor and move with it rather than working through a plan that stopped fitting an hour ago.
On the day
A single standard 240V outlet within reach of where the gear sits, and roughly two to three metres of width for the decks, speakers and lights. Outdoors, they'll need cover from the weather, whether that's a marquee, a stage roof or something similar. Allow about 45 to 60 minutes for bump-in before the music starts. And if your venue has a noise curfew or any sound restriction, mention it in your enquiry rather than on the day. Everything else is self contained. If you're not sure whether your venue works, tell them what you've got and they'll talk it through.
Performance options
Rather than fixed packages, each booking gets shaped around how long you need music for, where the event is, how many people are coming and what the set-up involves. Every booking includes the DJ gear, the sound system and simple party lighting. Simple is deliberate there. It's meant to give a room some atmosphere without turning a wedding into a nightclub.
