About
only child is a DJ for hire in Sydney, NSW.
only child moved to Sydney from Byron Bay and has been picked up quickly by the local scene, playing a spread of venues and events around the city. A background in piano and production means music was never a second language, and DJing became another way into sound rather than a different job. The sets move between genres, hypnotic rhythms running into driving grooves, and they're put together carefully rather than pulled together on the night. Producer as well as DJ.
